OLIVIER LAMY, the founder of SKUA (Skua) Coutellerie, has surprised us with his knives. Not only the materials but also the workmanship of his front flippers are reminiscent of the well-known greats such as Cheburkov or similar large manufacturers. The precision of his front flippers is very high quality and they invite you to open and close them constantly. Also the fact that they work with titanium liners is rather rare for such smaller manufacturers in France. Olivier has been a full-time knifemaker for 4 years and has already been able to achieve this high quality. French elegance meets the modern wishes of international knife passionists. Since we met Romain Bignon for the first time in 2017 at the fair in Thiers, we have not been able to find a second maker of such high-quality modern knives in France.
