“Vis pour ce que demain va t’offrir et non pour ce qu’hier t’a enlevé.” ( Anonym ) –
Live for what the next day has to offer and not for what yesterday has taken from you.
Emmanuel (Manu) Laplace, at his forge in Thiers, makes unique pocket knives with attention to detail.
knife making is in his blood, his great-grandfather, Gaston Cognet, is the creator of Douk Douk.
His inspiration comes from goldsmiths and weapon engravers.
Knives from Atelier 1515 are characterized by excellent workmanship and high functionality – combined with a timelessly elegant design.
p>p>The name 1515 goes back to a special event in French history, the victory in the Battle of Marignano under King Franz I.
