The new model “Magna” designed by Gudy van Poppel is a perfect everydaycarry knife, with
an excellent blade/grip ratio, which is better than many other folders.
The blade shape is a mix of sheepfoot and harpoon design. As a result, the knife has a
wide range of uses and is suitable for all sorts of tasks.
Another special feature is the special “Cran Force” lock, which works with a spring force of 2.5 kg.
This means you have a legal mechanism (Germany) that is stronger than as most folding knives with
a special lock system.
The first run is only 100 pieces in Tools For Gents burgundy-red.
Gudy van Poppel is a blacksmith and knifemaker from the Netherlands.
In recent years his focus has shifted from fixed knives and swords to folding knives.
He likes to experiment with the materials used:
“In short, most anything is possible and I’m always broadening my horizon.”
