Description
The new model “Magna” designed by Gudy van Poppel is an excellent everyday knife, which
differs from other folding knives due to its large blade / grip ratio. The system of the
Slip Joints was built here as a cran force, which has the advantage of greater security compared to the classic slip joint, since the back spring snaps into the blade root using a hook.
The blade shape is a mix of sheepfoot and harpoon design. As a result, the knife has a wide range of uses and is suitable for all kinds of tasks.
Gudy van Poppel is a blacksmith and knifemaker from the Netherlands.
In recent years his focus has shifted from fixed knives and swords to folding knives.
He likes to experiment with the materials used:
“In short, most anything is possible and I’m always broadening my horizon.”
