Description
In order to produce quality knives, every collaboration begins with friendship, passion and above all mutual respect. This was the reason why this great knife with Gudy van Poppel, Lionsteel and Edition G was created.
Gudy van Poppel is a full-time Dutch bladesmith known for his work in Europe and the United States.
He began as a real blacksmith and has been manufacturing blades for several decades. He learned to forge his own damask steel in the mid-90s. Since 1997 he has been represented at several exhibitions with his handmade/customized knives. He began with the production or manual shaping of mainly solid blades and later swords.
Becoming known in the smaller circle of the knife community, the demand for folding knives began to grow in his special style. Since then he has built up a wide repertoire of blades of all kinds. What most of them have in common is that they are mostly made of damascus steel forged in-house. Gudy makes all parts of his knives himself, including screws, washers and timascus for example. He is known for his high quality and has a steadily growing group of customers/followers, both collectors and users, in Europe and the United States of America.
Limited run of 300 numbered pieces, comes with a certificate of authenticity.
