Description

Robust, adaptable and glowing in the dark – a scorpion has characteristics that predestine it for numerous habitats. Likewise, this model from Laco is suitable for many areas of use. Therefore, as a special highlight, the watch bears a matching floor marking: a relief in the shape of a scorpion.

In addition to the shape of the case, the four timepieces in the product line also have the black dial with Arabic numerals in white in common. However, they are visually differentiated by different color accents: both the black, unidirectional rotating bezel and the indexes and minute hand are covered with the luminous material Superluminova in white, green, blue or orange, depending on the model. The long-lasting afterglow effect ensures optimal legibility at dusk or in the dark. Here, the analogy to the scorpion becomes apparent: the latter produces fluorescent substances that make it visible at night after irradiation with UV light.

With its dimensionally stable chitinous shell, the scorpion is also characterized by robustness despite its small size. This characteristic also applies to the sports watch. With a diameter of 42 mm, the “Scorpion” is resistant to external influences. This is ensured by the sturdy stainless steel case, the screw-down back and the likewise screw-down crown. The double-domed sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant. Thanks to internal anti-reflective coating, it reflects less and thus offers better visibility. In addition, the watch is water resistant to 30 ATM. For optimal use of the watch in water, the models are available with either a black rubber strap or a stainless steel bracelet.

The “Scorpio” combines practical functions with a refined look. It exploits its potential in many environments. Whether mountains, desert or tropical forests, the flexible watch is ready for daily outdoor use. The names of the four models are intended to show this: Himalaya, Amazon, Atlantic and Mojave.

Robuste, adaptable et brillant dans l’obscurité – un scorpion possède des caractéristiques qui le prédestinent à de nombreux habitats. De même, ce modèle de Laco convient à de nombreux domaines d’utilisation. C’est pourquoi la montre porte, comme point fort particulier, un marquage au sol adapté : un relief en forme de scorpion.

Les quatre garde-temps de la ligne de produits ont en commun, outre la forme du boîtier, le cadran noir avec des chiffres arabes en blanc. Ils se différencient toutefois visuellement par des accents de couleur différents : tant la lunette tournante unidirectionnelle noire que les index et l’aiguille des minutes sont recouverts, selon le modèle, de Superluminova blanc, vert, bleu ou orange. L’effet de rémanence de longue durée garantit une lisibilité optimale au crépuscule ou dans l’obscurité. On retrouve ici l’analogie avec le scorpion : celui-ci produit des substances fluorescentes qui le rendent visible la nuit après une exposition à la lumière UV.

Avec sa carapace de chitine indéformable, le scorpion se distingue en outre par sa robustesse malgré sa petite taille. Cette caractéristique s’applique également à la montre de sport. Le “scorpion”, d’un diamètre de 42 mm, résiste aux influences extérieures. Le solide boîtier en acier inoxydable, le fond vissé et la couronne également vissée y veillent. Le verre saphir doublement bombé est inrayable. Grâce à son traitement antireflet interne, il est moins réfléchissant et offre ainsi une meilleure visibilité. De plus, la montre est étanche jusqu’à 30 ATM. Afin de pouvoir utiliser la montre de manière optimale dans l’eau, les modèles sont disponibles au choix avec un bracelet en caoutchouc noir ou en acier inoxydable.
