Midgards-Messer, who founded the young company in 2017 and did the pioneering work together with his daughter, we are not just presenting the Urd 2.0 as a neck knife. Although the sturdy all-rounder is a lot of fun and has a lot of utility even when delivered, the real fun with the Midgards Messer Urd 2.0 only begins after you buy it.

For a commercially available 3D printer, each customer can download different handle scales in different shapes and sizes, spacers, accessory sheaths and gift boxes as a file and print them at home in a variety of shapes, colors and materials.

Whether with a final handle ring or as a three-finger knife, from various plastics to wooden filament to glow-in-the-dark materials, there are no limits to the urge to experiment and play and the wealth of different color and material combinations seems inexhaustible, while the different handle shapes additionally enable adaptation to your own needs and preferences. The term modular principle takes on a completely new meaning in the knife market.

For all customers who do not have a 3D printer, we also offer a direct printing service where each customer can order the bowls according to their own specifications. The Midgards Facebook page also offers a lot of inspiration and support. The Urd 2.0 is delivered with scales made of black G10 and a Kydex sheath with a ball chain, so that the knife is fully usable even without a domestic 3D printer. The sturdy blade is made of D2. Despite its compact design, the Urd 2.0 fits perfectly in the hand, meaning it can also handle cutting tasks that require greater use of force.
