TRC KNIVES This is Freedom
Winning the Nobel Prize for Literature may have pleased him, but not as much as his love of camping and fishing. Ernest Hemingway was a great adventurer and a true outdoorsman. As a teenager, he spent his days practising his fishing skills in the rivers of northern Michigan. In his early 30s, he moved on to deep sea fishing. Along the way, Hemingway won every organised fishing tournament imaginable. According to one story, the great writer almost missed his wedding because he was too busy fishing during one of his expeditions. He found his passion in fishing and his freedom in nature.
The Classic Freedom and This is Freedom series from the pen of Andrius Tricius are synonymous with the lived freedom of an angler and outdoor enthusiast.
The new This is Freedom has a 130 mm long blade that provides more versatility while retaining the features that made its predecessors so popular. The blade is made from high-quality, hand-ground M390 steel, which offers exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance. It has an elegant satin finish that gives the knife a sophisticated touch.
This knife was developed with versatility and functionality in mind. Andrius Tricius personally finds it incredibly useful for outdoor cooking – whether slicing, dicing or completing detailed tasks, it is always ready for action.
This one was chosen to emphasise the beauty of the canvas micarta grain, which enhances its unique look, while the sandblasted finish provides a secure, comfortable grip.
