The German Institute for Standardization (DIN – formerly Deutsche Industrie Norm) is the most important national standardization organization in Germany.

DIN standards form a benchmark for flawless technical behavior. DIN-tested products stand for exceptional, tested quality and excellent products “Made In Germany”.

DIN 8330 has replaced the outdated TeStaF (Technical Standard for Pilot’s Watches). The test scenario has been extended in parts. This serves to ensure the quality characteristics and, in particular, the cockpit requirements in an aircraft and means even stricter requirements for the watch.

Hamburg GMT DIN 8330
The Hamburg GMT DIN 8330 with second time zone display. On the GMT model, both the Arabic numerals on the internal 24-hour scale and the arrowhead of the GMT hand are in Superluminova Dark Orange.

The two logos and the date at the 4 o’clock position are set back in a shade of gray to avoid any distraction during the flight.

The screw-down stainless steel case back, decorated with an airplane relief, guarantees water resistance up to 20 ATM.

A Sellita SW330 automatic movement, also in the TOP quality grade, ensures absolute functional reliability.
