Preik Duty – Designed from Real-World Operational Experience

The Preik Duty was designed by German police and military professional Florian Preik. His many years of experience in law enforcement and operational environments directly influenced the development of the knife. The goal was to create a robust and reliable tool for demanding situations.

The knife was designed for a wide range of applications, including emergency and rescue operations, cutting seatbelts, breaking windows, and demanding tasks in the field. Its robust construction, ergonomic handle, and functional sheath are key features of the design.

Florian Preik began developing his own fixed-blade knives as early as 2001 after finding that commercially available models did not fully meet his requirements. Over the years, the original design was continuously refined and optimized in terms of strength, ergonomics, and functionality.

After a long search for a suitable manufacturer, Preik chose WithArmour to bring his vision of a reliable professional-duty knife to life. This collaboration resulted in the Preik Duty series – a range of knives based on years of experience, practical requirements, and professional craftsmanship.
