Description
Dario Zadravec alias DARAC STEEL presents us with a handmade framelock folder that contains only the finest materials. He has finished the titanium handle scales in an orange peel pattern, the axle screw and the lock handle scales have Fatcarbon inlays, the show side
is made from the same Fatcarbon. The beefy Toucan is reminiscent of the beak of the bird of the same name, and the elaborate blade has a swedge and hollow grind. The clip and backspacer are made of the finest zirconium. The flipper blade is made from highly hardened Böhler M390.
This is what Dario says about himself:
My name is Dario, and I am a full-time knifemaker from Croatia.
I have been working with knives since I was a child. I made my first knife in 2008. It was a simple knife by all criteria, made from steel I found in the garage. It wasn’t even heat-treated.
But that was just the beginning of my journey. I spent the following years experimenting with designs, techniques and material processing, finding my own style and making a name for myself in the world of knife making.
My goal as a knifemaker is to make the best knives possible with the best materials currently available in the world of knifemaking. I want to make a knife that you can enjoy carrying every day, show to your friends and be as proud of as I am of every knife I make.
