Laco has a long history of manufacturing professional pilot watches. In the 1940s, the traditional company was one of a handful of select suppliers of so-called observation watches. To this day, these robust and precise timepieces are sought after by collectors and serve as models for the current Laco pilot watches.
The “Naples 39” and “Palermo 39” reflect the traditional pilot watch design, but add a distinctly modern and elegant touch with their bright orange numerals, indices, and hands on a black background. With their sophisticated color combination, both watches not only cut a fine figure in the cockpit, but also exude charm in everyday life and in a business environment. The contemporary 39 mm stainless steel case with a slim bezel frames the large dial, which – as befits a pilot’s watch – displays the time at a glance in all lighting conditions.
The “Palermo” features the familiar B-type dial, which was formerly used by navigators on board aircraft. A characteristic feature here are the large minute numbers in increments of 5 around the edge. The classic hour division from 1 to 12 is shown in Arabic numerals and in an additional inner ring.
