Knife cutlery set consisting of 6 knives, this unusual design came from an order from an Italian restaurant with deep plates, this resulted in a Kukri machetes steak design. We found this so unusual that we immediately added it to our range.

The Fontani cutlery is the last artisan workshop founded in Scarperia, the Fontani family, already resident in Scarperia at the end of ‘700, counts among their ancestors many master knife makers. Unfortunately, as happened for many Scarperiesi families, the craft of “coltellinajo” or “scissors”, handed down from father to son, was abandoned over time, until today Alessandro is the last knife maker of the Fontani family and also the youngest master knifemaker of Scarperia, the last to be formed within the walls of the old vicariate.
