Since 2024, the maritime brand symbol, the stylized compass rose, has been the focus of attention; it is reflected in the striking hand design and guarantees perfect orientation – even in adverse lighting conditions.

Meaningful compass rose
The “star” in the DAVOSA brand logo is actually a stylized compass rose, a historic maritime symbol that protected all those who wore it in order to return home safely on the right path. This geometric shape, with two sides of equal length, forms the basis of the characteristic hand design of the new DAVOSA Ternos Professional 68h Automatic.

Clear readability in the dark
The SuperLumiNova® BGW9 luminous material ensures outstanding luminous properties. In natural light, the best luminous material currently available is white; in the dark, it is clearly visible in a clear blue tone.

Convenient adjustment
Another highlight of this model is the redesigned TriaLink stainless steel metal bracelet. The individually screwed solid bracelet links end on both sides in a folding clasp newly developed by DAVOSA, which enables convenient adjustment with two side pushers and a WaveSlide fine adjustment inside the clasp – without any additional tools.

High-tech ceramic
The colored inlay of the bezel is made of high-tech ceramic and is extremely scratch-resistant with a hardness (according to Vickers) of 1250 HV. It is also resistant to heat and corrosion and has a high-gloss polish for a fine feel.

Top-class precision movement
The new Ternos Professional also marks the start of a collaboration with La Joux-Perret, a manufacturer from the Swiss Jura renowned for its fine complications. The base caliber for the new DAV3121 caliber is supplied by the same movement manufacturer. In addition to the Elaboré-level accuracy for which all DAVOSA watches are renowned, it scores with a 68-hour power reserve powered solely by the movement of the wrist.
