Davosa Watches Ternos Sixties Ref: 161.525.50 (Black)
DAVOSA revives the spirit of the 1960s with the “Sixties” edition of its popular Ternos diving watch series. The Swiss manufacturer of high-quality mechanical watches focuses not only on the selection of manufacturing materials and design, but also on the comfort of the watch, in order to revive the era of carefree lightness and longing for freedom in lifestyle and fashion.
No extravagance
Comfort of the 60s
With a case diameter of only 40 mm, the Ternos Sixties is reminiscent of the moderate case sizes of past decades. It is a slim 12 mm high despite the domed glass and diving bezel. This has been achieved through a clever case design, which scores with a case head weight of only 58 g, including the movement and dial. The metal bracelet adds only 68 g, as the 3 mm thick links, which taper from 20 mm to 16 mm, are also reminiscent of the past.
Characteristic curves
Diving with class
The case of the Ternos Sixties, made entirely of corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel, has the appearance of a lens and thus fits perfectly on the wrist: the screw-down case back curves downwards by a few millimeters and conceals the robust Swiss automatic movement DAV 3021. The dial side is protected by a domed glass characteristic of the 1960s. The unidirectional rotating bezel made of aluminum emphasizes the vintage character and is available in blue, black, or burgundy.

Rivets instead of screws
Today, high-quality metal bracelets almost unanimously feature individually screwed links, with the screws almost invisibly recessed into each link. In the last century, functional watches often used visible rivets, which are easily recognizable by the raised curves on the outside of the links. DAVOSA has given the Ternos Sixties a metal bracelet with exactly this look. The rivets on the lower bracelet links are nevertheless screwed in place for easy bracelet adjustment.
